About this shop
David A Schorsch American Antiques is a dealer of American antiques and folk art in Woodbury, Connecticut. The firm specializes in weathervanes, folk paintings, folk sculpture, formal and country furniture, and Shaker design, and has operated from a gallery in a restored early 19th century building in the historic Woodbury district since 1995. The business buys and sells individual objects and entire collections, offers consignment and auction advice, and helps collectors build and refine their collections. Scholarly accuracy and provenance are central to the firm, which keeps a library for verifying the authenticity and historical documentation of its pieces.
