About this shop
Still River Antiques is the restoration division of the Hitchcock Chair Co., a family-operated maker of Hitchcock furniture in Winsted, Connecticut. The business restores older Hitchcock chairs, tables and case goods using original techniques, materials and stencils, in the tradition of Lambert Hitchcock's 1818 chair designs. A factory showroom displays restored, discontinued and limited-run Hitchcock pieces.
